Over the past few months, the words “change is constant” are often heard at my work place. Well, seems to me that whoever is saying that is either shirking the responsibility of providing stability, or admitting defeat – in other words, inability to influence matters favourably.
Naturally, I would think that no many would deny that changes are inevitable, and in fact very healthy. However, the pace at which change occurs can make or more likely break any organisation. An action would necessarily induce a reaction, and if another action occurs before the first reaction comes to completion, all hell would break loose! This is obvious from the swaying of long bridges in strong winds.
