EnhancedHost, the webhosting company that I have been with for the past two years, was recently sold to another, larger company. That and the fact that there seems to be more and more hosting companies out there which provide much more web space than my current plan and at comparable cost – which is quite perplexing – which got me started on looking for a new hosting company to host my site. By the way, I am currently only using about 300MB of my allotted 600MB but I do expect to upload more higher-res photos in the near future.
As of tonight, the migration to :wp: is complete! The rest is to tidy up any broken links because some of my previous entries contained hard-coded links to earlier entries. Then, I can get on with updating my trip details.

On a suggestion from one of my colleagues, I decided to give Google Desktop Search another try. I was not particulary impressed the first time I tried it a few months ago – admittedly it was during the Beta phase. This time, however, I have to say that I am very impressed! It managed to track down some emails that I have forgotten which folder I have filed into (since I switched to full-time use of Thunderbird from Eudora at work). Way to go!
Have been watching a relatively new mythical martial-arts TV series from China, with casts from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, called Sian Jian Qi Xia Zhuan (ä»™åŠå¥‡ä¿ 傳). This is a period fantasy derived from a popular RPG game from Taiwan.
