Had an opportunity to take the MRT - also known as the Metro, Subway, Tube, etc., elsewhere - and overheard the following conversation between a teenage couple.

“Try not to miss me too much!” said the girl as she headed to the door.

Don’t know about you, but it made me cringe inside when I heard it. Perhaps it’s age catching up with me, and it’s a sign that I am no longer anywhere near Generation X-Y-Z…
